The Village Administrator is responsible for administrative duties and is the day to day manager of operations at Village Hall.

Capital Improvement Plan

The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is created to aid the decision-making process for the annual budget and to ensure the adequate acquisition, construction, maintenance, and improvements to Village capital assets.

1. Sustainability Committee

   In 2019, the Village Board Commissioned the Sustainability Ad Hoc Committee to explore and advise on matters related to environmental stewardship. The Sustainability Committee is dedicated to guiding and assisting Cross Plains’ residents, businesses, and government in becoming a community that meets the needs of today without compromising the needs of the future. The goal of this committee is to identify and advocate for changes related to environmental stewardship creating a more sustainable Village. The appointment of the Sustainability Committee was renewed for 2020.

2. Community Survey

   The Sustainability Committee commissioned a nine question community wide survey in February of 2020. The purpose of the survey was to gauge the community's appetite for a sustainability action plan and discover priority projects.

3. Committee Annual Report

   The Committee's year in review annual report was provided to the Village Board on August 24, 2020. It shares the Committee's accomplishments and provides recommendations to come.

   The Committee has identified several short and long term initiatives to meet its mission.
