The court processes payments for Municipal Ordinance, Traffic Citations and Parking Citations.
Failure to Pay
Failure to make payment may result in: the suspension of your driving privileges for up to one year, having the outstanding amount certified through the Department of Revenue, having the matter referred to a collection agency or being incarcerated in the county jail for a period of up to 90 days. If you are unable to pay the fine within the 60 days, you must contact the Municipal Court to arrange a payment plan.
If you failed to pay the fine by the due date, your debt may be referred to one of the following:
- State Collections (SDC)
- Tax Refund Interception Program (TRIP)
- Cash - Please do not send cash in the mail.
- Check or Money Order - Checks or money orders should be made payable to the "Village of Cross Plains". If you mail in or drop off a payment, please be sure to include your citation number.
- Credit or Debit Card - Please be aware a convenience fee will be applied.
In Person - Payments can be made in person at the Clerk's office located at 2417 Brewery Rd, Cross Plains, WI 53528 during normal business hours: Monday - Friday from 7:30AM - 4:00PM, except observed holidays. Outside of normal business hours, you may deposit payment in the drop box located outside the main entrance. Please be sure to include your name and citation number and that the payment is for Court.
By Mail - Please DO NOT SEND CASH. Make checks or money orders payable to the "Village of Cross Plains" and include your citation number. Mail Payments to:
