Village Board and Committee meetings:
Governor Evers’ office has provided guidance that local government meeting are exempt from the declaration limiting mass gatherings. With that being said, the Village of Cross Plains will take the necessary steps to follow the guidance provided by the Department of Justice on open meetings.
Until further notice, all future village board and committee meetings will be held at the public library community room to provide as much spacing as possible. We are working on a teleconferencing solution so that interested parties may call in to listen to the meeting. Draft minutes and video recordings of the meetings will be posted on the Village’s website as soon as possible.
We have set up a Zoom teleconference line for the public to monitor the meetings by phone or virtually. The meeting links are unique to each meeting.
The teleconference line will be open for the public comment section of the agenda. To limit interruption and participants talking over each other, the teleconference line will be muted for the rest of the meeting. Participants may still listen. Participants will have the opportunity to inform the Village Board during the public comment section if they have a comment on an agenda item. Participants will also have an opportunity to email me their comments or questions during the meeting. Emails can be sent to bchang@cross-plains.wi.us.
Please contact the Village ahead of time if you have any questions about accessing meetings.
