1. What is the assessed value of my property?

Property information, including assessed values, can be found on the Access Dane website.

2. How can I get a receipt for property tax payments?

Receipts for real estate property tax payments, as well as tax payment history, can be found on the Access Dane website. Please note that payments made during December will not be posted on this website until the beginning of January; payments made in January will not be posted until early February. You may also contact Village Hall for a receipt (608-798-3241 or info@cross-plains.wi.us). 

3. How can I pay my tax bill?

First installments (or full payment) are made to the Village of Cross Plains on or before January 31 of each year. Payment options include:

1. Drop box or in person at Village Hall (2417 Brewery Rd)

2. Mail payment to PO Box 97, Cross Plains, WI 53528

3. Pay online (convenience fees apply)

Second installments are due on or before July 31 of each year. Payments are made directly to the Dane County Treasurer. 

4. How do I change the billing address on my tax bill?

Contact Village Hall to make a change to the billing address on your real estate tax bill (608-798-3241 or info@cross-plains.wi.us). Contact Associated Appraisal to change a billing address on a personal property tax bill (1-800-721-4157).
