	2020 Census	The 2020 Census is a once-a-decade population count of everyone who lives in the United States on April 1. Responses from the census help determine how hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funds are allocated for critical public services and programs in communities around the country each year for the next 10 years.
	Baer Park Activities Canceled	All activities scheduled at Baer Park are canceled for Tuesday, May 28, 2019.
	Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates	The Village of Cross Plains is working diligently in response to COVID-19. Currently, Village Hall and Village Operations are functioning normally. We are taking precaution to keep our facilities clean, our community healthy, and limit the possible spread of the virus and other germs.

	Garbage Pickup	Garbage and Recycling service is scheduled for Thursday, January 31, per our usual pickup.

	VILLAGE HALL HOURS	VILLAGE HALL AND OTHER MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS WILL BE CLOSED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. WE WILL STILL BE OPEN FOR LIMITED APPOINTMENTS AND WILL BE OPEN FOR EARLY VOTING AND ABSENTEE VOTING. VOTERS SHOULD RING THE DOORBELL TO BE LET IN. WE ARE ENCOURAGING RESIDENTS WITH NON URGENT MATTERS TO CALL OR EMAIL US. BILL-PAY AND FEE PAYMENTS SHOULD BE DONE ONLINE OR DROPPED OFF AT THE LOCK BOX AT THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING.

	Naming of Large Diamond Baer Park - Gorst Field"	The Parks, Recreation and Conservancy Committee is currently taking public comment in regards to the naming of the Baer Park Large Diamond, "Gorst Field", after Francis Gorst. Please send public comment to Michael Axon, Parks and Recreation Director, maxon@cross-plains.wi.us Public comment will be taken until December 16, 2020. Formal discussion and action will take place on Monday, December 21, 2020 by the Parks, Recreation and Conservancy Committee and sent on to the Village Board.
